MSK-USG guided injection for joint and muscles in Puducherry. This opened up the precise targeted delivery of medicine to where it is required. In this technique the proposed joint/soft tissue is visualized with MSK-USG system. The exact tracking of the needle was identified and until the tip is positioned to where it is required and then precise delivery of medication was done. This procedure increased our target accuracy and helped thousands of patients with good pain relief.

We performed one of first Revision Hip replacement surgery for a young lady.
She was a patient with already done hip surgery a couple of decade back, with implants displaced and collapsed hip joint. For her we revised and gave a new joint after which she is under 6 years of follow up. Now she is doing great and happily living with two kids.

On Oct 9th 2009 world osteoporosis day-Alpha Ortho Clinic. We introduced MSK- Musculo Skeletal USG-UltraSound evaluation for Boneand joints.
This unique tool is an instrument that we can say is our third eye. It helps us in identifying the problems much earily and also with motion Study. This allowed us to look beyond xray evalution and to look at soft tissues in a better way. These soft tissues are the fundamental in bringing in the blood supply to the bone. With MSK-USG we were able to help thousands of patients with unique perspective of identifying a problem in a very patient friendly way.

First to introduce Coblation technology in Arthroscopic surgeries. Coblation technology is an advanced procedure in which the sodium ions in the salt water (Saline) that is washed through the joint when arthroscopy is performed. This creates a sodium plasma at the tip of the wand. The plasma melts the surface of the damaged cartilage/Tissue without causing the thermal damage to the deeper layers of the tissue. This very effectively smoothes off the surface of rough damaged cartilage and stabilizes the damaged tissue. In our opinion this has revolutionized in the tissue management during arthroscopy. The term coblation comes from the fact that the wands can ablate tissue and also coagulate tissues too.
